Appointments with Dr. Shneider

Office hours for patients are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 5pm.
Call 517-333-3777 to make an appointment.  Patients may make their own appointments.  If a referral is required for insurance coverage, the referral is required when making the appointment.

We participate with most regional insurances.  If from out of town, out-of-network charges may apply. 

If you are from out of town and need help or information about travel or hotel questions, call Rebecca Barnes at 517-203-3931 and she can assist you.

Out of town patients can be evaluated one day and be prescheduled for surgery the next.  Previous medical records ( including surgery notes) and xrays are helpful in planning an appointment for treatment.

Office Location

East Lansing is located in south central Michigan, about 90 miles from Detroit and about four hours driving from Chicago.  Air service is provided to Lansing, Michigan by multiple airlines.  East Lansing is the home of Michigan State University.

The office is a few blocks east of the US 127 freeway on Lake Lansing Road, an exit from 127.  It is easily reached from I-96 or I-69.

A Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriott are within a few blocks.  A large shopping center with many restaurants is a few blocks west,  just past the 127 overpass.  The hospital also has a temporary residence called the McRee House that is inexpensive and nice.  However, it is not centrally located.
